Ribbon Collars:

Our ribbon dog collars are made with a stylish ribbon sewn on top of our heavyweight and absolutely sturdy nylon. Ribbon overlay collars can be made in almost any custom length you may need.

Fabric Collars:

Most of our fabric dog collars are in the holiday dog collars section since we have such a "ruffï" time finding holiday ribbons. But we've found fabric to be a great alternative! Since most fabrics are precut to a certain length, our fabric dog collars are limited to small, medium and large sizes only. Please note that fabric collars are NOT available for martingale dog collars!

Side Release Buckle Collars (Plastic and Metal):

All of our small, medium, large and extra large size plastic buckle collars come with our very own trademarked 3 Dirty Dawgz logo buckle. Some collar pictures may display a different buckle but please note that all plastic side release buckle collars (small, medium, large and extra large) will be made with our logo buckle.

We also offer a variety of hip and trendy colored plastic buckles for our 1" width collars. As of now, colored plastic buckles are NOT available for our ½" and ¾" sizes.

Our silver and black metal buckle collars are not only stylish but extremely strong. If you have a dog who is an excessive puller, a metal buckle option would be the perfect fit! These metal side release buckles can take anything you throw their way!

Martingale Dog Collars:

What is a martingale you ask? Let us explain...

Standard Martingales:

A martingale dog collar is a special type of collar that helps a dog stay happy while being completely secure on their leash. A martingale collar has two loops. The larger loop is placed around the dogs neck and adjusted to fit loosely. The leash is then attached to the D ring on the smaller of the 2 loops. When the dog tries to pull their head out of their collar, the tension on the leash pulls the small loop taut, which makes the large loop smaller and tighter on the neck – thus preventing an escape.

When adjusted properly the dog is never choked, but the collar stays snug around the dog's neck (just behind the ears) until the pressure is released. Martingale dog collars are also known as Greyhound collars, humane choke collars, limited slip collars and safety collars. Trainers and vets recommend the Martingale dog collar because they prefer its gentle choke action over that of a choke chain.

Martingales With a Buckle:

Same thing as a traditional martingale but are perfect for dogs that aren't comfortable having a collar slipped over their head. They're also great for those energy filled pups who are too busy tail-waggin' away cause they're about to go on a walk and can't possibly sit still long enough for the collar to be adjusted once on! Buckle martingales combine the convenience of a buckle collar with the safety of a martingale collar. Most of our buckle martingale dog collars are available with both plastic buckles and metal buckles!

Martingale with Chain Loop:

Same as a traditional martingale but instead of a ribbon overlay small loop it comes with a metal chain instead!

Important note on martingales:

All collars can potentially be hazardous if left on your pet while unattended, but a martingale style collar carries a slightly higher risk of injury if left on while unsupervised. If the smaller loop gets caught on something, your dog can choke so please be cautious where martingale dog collars are concerned.

Our standard length dog leashes are approximately 5-1/2' long BUT can be made almost any length you may need for your dog. We use nice strong leash clasps and have a generous loop at the top for your hand to fit in. Leashes are only available for ribbon collars. Dog leashes are not available for fabric collars.
